Extract from “The Sensory Garden.”
“She stepped into a magical place with winding pathways, raised beds full of fragrant herbs and birds chirping and skipping from the stone birdbath in the center to the graceful weeping cherry trees, to the fragrant eucalyptus.
She wandered through the garden tasting the mint she plucked from the flower beds, smelling the lavender as she brushed against it and listening to the chimes that sounded in the gentle breeze.
Everywhere she looked offered an invitation to see, hear, smell, touch and taste.
She had wandered into the sensory garden.”
